What this covers
The permit lets you start; the completion certificate lets you finish. Without it your fit-out is not formally closed out, which creates problems at licence renewal, on lease exit and in any future modification application.

Why inspections fail
Almost always because the installation does not match the approved drawings. A sprinkler head moved to avoid a bulkhead, an emergency light relocated, a partition shifted 300mm during construction. Each is minor individually and each fails an inspection. We walk the site before booking, identify the deviations, and either correct them or update the drawings — so the inspection passes the first time.
